Cerebral is a Captain within the Angelbots of the Angel Kingdom. Cerebral serves a single purpose and that is to keep control of RSS Fortress Maximus from using most of his weapons unless ordered to by Griffon Prime, and Griffon Prime Alone. Vastly loyal to Griffon Prime, he holds the signature key to unlock Fortress Maximus's primary weapons within in his systems. This was a form of failsafe as Maximus is one of the few Angelbots who would willingly open fire on Angels should the situation calls for it.
Cerebral, like most Angelbots and Imperialcons, were once robots prior to the rise of the Imperium and the 1st Battlestar Wars, and was one of the robots rescued by the rebels to become an Angelbot. Cerebral's early career as an Angelbot was mostly as a standard foot trooper and was mostly average in all engagements. When he was detailed the soon to become Titan Fortress Maximus, Cerebral became the only Angelbot who had any real control of the Titan in his early life. Over the course of the following 3 wars, Cerebral and Maximus gained a good relationship, but Cerebral was entrusted in keeping the very powerful Titan under control. Cerebral would often under estimate how very well restrained Maximus is, thus still never trusted Maximus to operate any of his mega and ultra weapons without permission.
During the start of the 4th Wars, Cerebral became a stubborn thorn in the side of Royal Prince Adam as the Kingdom's navy was tiny and incomplete and a massive Black Market Navy was about to attack. Cerebral refused to allow the use of Maximus's cannon under any circumstances and not without authority of Griffon Prime. Cerebral finally allowed the weapon's usage when seduced by Commander Ashley Thermal. After the battle, Cerebral gets the full fury of Captain Prowler who is Griffon's first Officer and chief of security while the Spartan Legend quietly sneaks away.
Cerebral, today, still operates within Fortress Maximus and has seen action in the current 5th Wars, with Maximus being allowed to fire his main weapons upon the Imperium in several aggressive campaigns. Cerebral is a light weight Angelbot and forms a Coms system to which he can use to communicate and directly control Maximus's actions from within the Titan's Bridge.
